Murphy's is the only full-service lawn-care, landscaping, garden center and retail florist shop in Long Hill Township. Dan Murphy started his landscaping business in 1993, and opened a garden center and florist shop in Stirling in 2005.

Murphy Landscaping sponsors this town Welcome sign on Plainfield Road. Dan was not satisfied with the appearance of the sign on a side slope, so he boxed in the posts with block, and keeps the box full with seasonal plantings and decorations, all at his own additional expense.
